The Hawker Hurricane from WattsWings contains everything
you need to build this famous aircraft. All of the foam parts are pre
cut on state of the art CNC machines and snap together with easy tab and slot
construction. The Hurricane has a strong airframe thanks to its carbon
fiber shaft “skeleton’, both in the wing and the fuselage. With
its 41” wingspan and 10 oz weight, it is stable, lightweight and just
flies great. The Hurricane kit was designed to be true to scale, the only modification
being its slightly oversized ailerons for increased responsiveness. The Hurricane
standard configuration is four channels: throttle, flaperons, elevator. The
kit can also be built with rudder, but is not really necessary.
The WattsWings Hurricane, as all of our kits,
is set up for dual aileron servos. This will allow you to mix ailerons
as needed for flaperon control. This allows the use of a computer
radio with the ability to set dual rates and exponential throws. The kit
has nice scale features like its wing fairings and engine exhaust.
